An opportunity to work on the forefront of mobile internet. My client is a large mobile internet company expanding a team for mobile web 2.0 development. You will develop a large web application for mobile devices. This application will be utilized by literally hundreds of millions globally. You will play a key role with this R&D organization to see how far Ruby can go.

Senior Developer • Experienced Internet service developer • Good understanding of Agile development method(s) • Domain space expertise in media and social networking • Knowledge of a broad range of internet technologies and practices • Good communications skills • Experience on backend-technologies for internet-based services including server-side programming with Linux, PHP, RybyOnRails, Python, Erlang and Java with MVC frameworks. • Experience in creating and integrating to SOAP/REST based web services. • Experience with database design and database driven applications. • Knowledge on web technologies and front-end development using AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, RSS, ATOM.

Architect • Develop architecture strategy for Web Services • Defining the drivers for common architecture and way forward with the most important common components • Define what development environment(s) to use for handset SW development to balance investment, user experience and volumes • Ensure our service delivery capability will be cost efficient and not slowing down new innovation Qualifications • Proven Technology expertise in Internet service space • Proven track record creating SW/Internet Service architectures • Deep understanding of mobile technologies • Intimate knowledge of new technologies • Understanding of IPR management • Ability to think strategically • Firm understanding of key industry technology forums • Deep technical expertise in media and social networking • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical audience
