We are looking for Ruby development expertise to help us launch UniThrive. UniThrive is a platform designed to better connect alumni and student communities by facilitating peer-to-peer, alumni-to-student loans. It presents a value proposition that not only provides more attractive loan terms for students, but more importantly, cultivates advisor-advisee relationships between individual alumni and students..

We are seeking to modify an existing open-source social networking software built on ruby, and adapt it for our needs. This is a paid position, and would require a significant amount of committed time over the coming few months. Actual coding would be required as part of the position. The team we have put together is tremendously capable, and we are looking for technological expertise to strengthen our team.
